How sound is the statement that a brother will not see his brother on the Day of Resurrection, and will there be gatherings on the Day of Gathering?

It is possible for siblings to meet on the Day of Gathering (Mahshar), as there are indications in the Quran and Sunnah that meetings, discussions, and reproaches will occur among people on the Day of Resurrection. Examples include Allah's saying: "On the Day a man will flee from his brother," and His saying: "If only you could see when the wrongdoers are made to stand before their Lord, casting blame at each other’s words," and His saying: "Then, indeed you, on the Day of Resurrection, before your Lord, will contend." The hadith of intercession also indicates people's search for the prophets.
