Is the saying, "On a day a man flees from his brother," except for the one who memorizes the Quran, who goes to his mother and father to crown them with the crown of honor, sound, and who said it?

The verse: "On the Day a man will flee from his brother," includes everyone. Even the Messengers will be preoccupied with themselves when intercession is sought from them, and it will be Muhammad, peace be upon him, who undertakes it. Ibn Kathir is of the view that the verse means people will see their relatives and flee from them because of the immense terror.

As for what has been reported regarding the honor bestowed upon the bearer of the Quran and his parents, that will occur at another stage among the multiple stages of the Day of Resurrection. In Imam Ahmad's Musnad, there is a hadith describing the Quran coming to its companion on the Day of Resurrection in the form of a pale man, saying to him: "I am your companion, the Quran, who made you thirsty during the noonday heat and kept you awake at night." Then, the bearer of the Quran will be given kingship and immortality, a crown of honor will be placed on his head, and his parents will be clothed with two robes that the people of the world could not afford, and it will be said to them: "This is for your child's adherence to the Quran." And it will be said to the bearer of the Quran: "Recite and ascend through the levels of Paradise and its chambers."
