"After searching, no vision of Abu Bakr regarding this matter was found. However, there is a story attributed to Umar, narrated by Ibn Hibban, Ibn Sa'd, and others, that Umar ibn al-Khattab delivered a sermon to the people and saw a vision that he believed only indicated the approach of his demise. He saw a red rooster pecking him twice. He related this to Asma bint Umays, who said, 'A man from among the foreigners will kill me.'"
