What is the ruling on recovering the cost of prescription eyeglasses from both my parents' insurance, given the obligation to insure employees?

It is not permissible to participate in commercial health insurance, which is forbidden, unless a person is compelled to do so. In that case, it is permissible for him to benefit from what he paid to the insurance company, and it is permissible for him to use stratagem to reclaim what he paid. However, anything in excess of the amount paid is not lawful for him, even if its expenditure would be for the general benefit of Muslims.
