Is it permissible to supplicate for God to take from the supplicant's lifespan and add it to the lifespan of another beloved person?

The scholars have not explicitly ruled on the permissibility of the supplication, "O Allah, increase the lifespan of so-and-so from my lifespan." However, it appears that it is conditioned upon the continued existence of the one being supplicated for having a legitimate Islamic benefit, either due to their virtue or because people benefit from them. Evidence for this includes the supplication of Al-Fudayl ibn Iyad for Al-Rashid, the supplication of Aisha for Mu'awiya, and the statement of Yahya ibn Ja'far Al-Baykandi regarding Imam Al-Bukhari, all due to the preservation of religion and knowledge that resulted from their continued existence.
