Is it true that the Companions used to recite Ayat al-Kursi in the corners of their homes upon entering them?

We have not come across any hadith that mentions that the Companions (may Allah be pleased with them) used to recite Ayat al-Kursi upon entering their homes. Despite its great virtue and what has been reported about its recitation regarding protection and safeguarding from Satan, there is no evidence that it should be recited upon entering homes. However, this does not prevent its recitation.
