Would a woman refuse marriage if a man asked her to pluck her eyebrows, knowing that plucking is forbidden?

Plucking eyebrows (al-namṣ) is absolutely forbidden, except for removing what exceeds the usual and disfigures or mars one's appearance. Therefore, it is not permissible for a woman to remove any hair from her eyebrows without a valid excuse, whether her husband or fiancé commands her to do so or not. She must convince her fiancé of the Sharia ruling, and if he is not convinced, she should leave him and annul the engagement.
