What is the ruling regarding a divorced woman who is observing her iddah (waiting period) in her family's home after she requested to observe the iddah in her ex-husband's home, but the judge and the husband did not respond to her request? And is she allowed to attend university while she is in her iddah, knowing that her husband expelled her from their home before the divorce?

It is not permissible for the husband to expel his divorced wife from the marital home until her 'iddah (waiting period) ends, nor is it permissible for her to leave it, due to the Almighty's saying: "And fear Allah, your Lord. Do not expel them from their homes, nor should they leave." And housing is a right for Allah that does not fall except out of necessity or an unavoidable need. Enrolling in studies is permissible for a divorced woman during her 'iddah if there is a need, along with adhering to the Sharia guidelines when going out.
