It is not permissible for the husband to expel his divorced wife from the marital home until her ' (waiting period) ends, nor is it permissible for her to leave it, due to the Almighty's saying: "And fear Allah, your Lord. Do not expel them from their homes, nor should they leave." And housing is a right for Allah that does not fall except out of necessity or an unavoidable need. Enrolling in studies is permissible for a divorced woman during her 'iddah if there is a need, along with adhering to the guidelines when going out.
