What is the ruling on working in e-marketing for forex and currency trading companies after becoming aware of their unlawfulness, and is it permissible to continue working out of necessity, given the absence of an alternative due to the current circumstances, and what is the ruling on money saved from this work?
Since you have learned that working for this company is unlawful, you must leave it immediately, unless there is a necessity.
As for the salary you received from this work before knowing its unlawfulness, there is no blame upon you for benefiting from it, for Allah Almighty says: ﴿But whoever receives an admonition from his Lord and stops, he may have what has already passed, and his affair is left to Allah﴾ [Al-Baqarah: 275].
If he was ignorant and did not know that it was unlawful, then his repentance expiates what came before it, and it is rightfully his. However, if he took it while knowing it was unlawful, then he must give it away as charity.
