It is not permissible for a young girl to wear clothes that do not cover her 'awrah (private parts). The guardian must prevent her from displaying herself if she is desired, especially if she is discerning or close to puberty. Girls should be accustomed to modesty and shyness before puberty, so that modesty does not become insignificant to them when they grow up. If a girl attracts attention to herself, then the becomes obligatory for her. Guardians must also pay attention to raising their sons and daughters upon the correct creed and noble morals.
