What is the ruling on tawaf and sa'i for a sleeping person, whether at the beginning of tawaf and sa'i or in the middle of it?

The circumambulation (Tawaf) and the ritual pacing (Sa'y) of a sleeping person are not valid because the conditions for their validity include: mental soundness, a specific intention, ritual purity for the circumambulation, and the performance of the ritual pacing after a valid circumambulation. Sleep nullifies ablution and removes mental soundness. Furthermore, walking is a condition for those who are able.
