What is the ruling on one who says: "I hate my destiny"?
It is not permissible to utter the phrase: "This is a destiny I dislike." The ruling on it varies depending on the intention of the speaker. If the speaker intended to dislike the destiny decreed by Allah Almighty and objected to His will, then this nullifies one's faith. However, if the speaker intended to dislike the decreed thing itself due to the pain it causes, while still being certain of Allah's wisdom and justice, then even though this is forbidden due to impatience, it does not nullify one's faith. Its prohibition ceases when the impatience subsides, but the phrase remains Islamically disliked.
