Is an administrative employee in an oil company sinful for issuing liquor permits to Christians, even though he is compelled and his refusal may affect his job?

Alcohol is the mother of all evils. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, cursed its drinker, its pourer, its seller, its buyer, and others connected to it. Therefore, it is impermissible to drink it or to assist in its production or distribution. Issuing licenses for it constitutes assistance in sin. Necessity is not considered an excuse unless a person is threatened with destruction or an unbearable hardship, and necessity is to be estimated according to its true extent. If you are compelled to remain in your current job, you may do so only to the extent that it repels the necessity, while diligently searching for another job. Otherwise, it is impermissible to continue in it, and repentance is obligatory for what has passed.
