A gift to a female teacher may be permissible if intended to foster love, harmony, and honor. However, it is forbidden if its purpose is to sway the teacher's heart to obtain undeserved grades or favoritism, in which case it is considered a bribe. The child is not sinful for this, as the pen is lifted from him; however, his guardian and anyone who assisted him in the prohibited act are sinful.
