If you are dutiful and kind to your mother, continue to do so, seeking the Face of Allah, and thank Him for His guidance. Her quarrelsome nature or her displeasure with you will not harm you as long as it is without just cause. However, be patient and strive to appease her, respond to evil with good, and persevere in supplication with insistence.
