Is it permissible to delay the 'Asr prayer until close to the time of the Maghrib prayer due to a university lecture?

Performing the prayer at the beginning of its time is better. Prayer performed at the mentioned time is valid, but it is not permissible to delay the Asr prayer until the sun turns yellow, due to the hadith narrated by Abdullah ibn Amr ibn al-Aas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "When you pray Asr, its time extends until the sun turns yellow." Anas ibn Malik also reported from the Prophet (peace be upon him) that delaying the Asr prayer until the sun turns yellow is "the prayer of the hypocrites."
