The cure for obsessive thoughts is to ignore them. A wet dream is when a sleeping person sees himself engaging in intercourse or sexual relations, and a ghusl (definition) (ritual bath) is obligatory if he wakes up and sees semen, even if he did not feel pleasure. The criterion for a wet dream is the emission of semen. Vaginal discharges invalidate ablution (wudu') but are pure (tahir), and they do not necessitate ghusl but rather wudu'. Ghusl is only obligatory for someone who is certain of its cause. As for what comes out with urine or immediately after it, it is usually prostatic fluid (wady), and its ruling is the same as that of urine.
