Does a divorce occur if an actor says to his real-life wife, who is acting with him in a series, "You are divorced," intending the character she is playing, not his real-life wife?

The divorce pronounced by an actor to his wife does not take effect if he utters it as part of his role in a series and without intending to divorce her. This is because it is similar to someone who utters divorce by way of narration or imitation; he is narrating the words of the characters in the story he is acting out. This does not mean that it is permissible to watch these series, which contain শরী‘আ-related transgressions.
