Is it obligatory to report patients who have consumed intoxicants and drugs, and committed crimes of fornication and sodomy?

You must advise them, urge them to repent, and conceal their secret, without exposing their matter. Help them obey Allah and His Messenger, remind them that Allah forgives those who repent, and warn them against returning to sins, citing the verses: {The believing men and believing women are allies of one another. They enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong} (Quran 9:71) and {By time, Indeed, mankind is in loss, Except for those who have believed and done righteous deeds and advised each other to truth and advised each other to patience} (Quran 103:1-3), and the Hadiths: "Religion is an-naseeha (sincere advice)" and "Whoever conceals a Muslim's fault, Allah will conceal his fault in this world and the Hereafter."
