Are the names of children written in the Preserved Tablet and chosen for them before their birth, or are they by the parents' choice?

The actions of people, including the naming of children, are created by Allah and occur by their choice and will. The names of children are written in the Preserved Tablet, and at the same time, they are by the choice of the parents, to whom Allah has granted will and choice. Therefore, they are required to choose good names for their children. This is indicated by the hadith: "Indeed, you will be called on the Day of Resurrection by your names and your fathers' names; so make your names good." Other hadiths also indicate the writing of names in eternity, such as the hadith about the two books containing the names of the people of Paradise and Hell, and the hadith about the Dajjal, in which the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, mentioned that he knows the names of the horsemen and their fathers' names.
