Does the unanswered prayer for healing for a patient since childhood mean that he is a person whose prayers are not answered?

Supplication (Du’a) is a great act of worship. Allah has commanded us to supplicate to Him and promised to respond, as He جل وعلا says: "And your Lord says: 'Call upon Me; I will respond to you.'" Be certain that your supplication will be answered sooner or later, or something better will be stored for you, based on the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "There is no Muslim who supplicates with a supplication in which there is no sin or cutting off of kinship ties, but Allah will give him one of three things: He will either hasten his supplication for him, or store it for him in the Hereafter, or avert from him evil equivalent to it." Beware of haste and abandoning supplication, for the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "The supplication of any servant will continue to be answered as long as he does not supplicate for a sin or cutting off of kinship ties, and as long as he does not become impatient." Indeed, all the affairs of a believer are good: if prosperity befalls him, he is grateful, and if adversity befalls him, he is patient.
