Is the saying true that a Jew authenticated the words of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him?

The Hadith does not indicate that the Jew was correcting the Prophet Muhammad’s (peace be upon him) words. The Jew heard some Companions say, "What Allah wills and you will," and "By the Kaaba," so the Prophet (peace be upon him) commanded them to change these phrases. This might be either because he had not heard them say these phrases before, or he had heard them but had not yet received revelation prohibiting them. The prohibition of polytheism in speech came from the Prophet (peace be upon him), and the Jew's statement served as an occasion for this clarification and legislation. This further strengthens the argument against the Jews, as it shows their knowledge of the truth. The Hadith also contains profound wisdom in Islam's acceptance of truth from anyone, based on Allah's saying: (O you who have believed, be persistently Qawwameen [firmly standing] for Allah, witnesses in justice, and do not let the hatred of a people prevent you from being just. Be just; that is nearer to righteousness. And fear Allah; indeed, Allah is Acquainted with what you do.) [Quran 5:8]. It is obligatory to accept the truth, even if it comes from someone disliked, and not to reject it due to personal animosities or inner desires.
