Is the prayer of the congregants valid if the Imam prostrates for one prostration of forgetfulness, then says the taslim?

Two prostrations of forgetfulness are not sufficient with just one prostration. You followed the Imam in omitting them, so your prayer is valid according to some scholars and invalid according to others. Repeating it is more appropriate as a precautionary measure and to avoid dispute.
