Is it permissible to give expiatory alms (kaffarah) to charitable organizations that provide one meal to the needy, if it is difficult for me to distribute it myself?

There is no objection to appointing charitable organizations to disburse expiations, as long as they give them to the needy. A single meal is sufficient according to some jurists, but to absolve oneself more fully, two meals are better.
