Why did Allah create harmful insects such as wasps and snakes, and many other types for which humans find no benefit, even though the Qur'anic verse means that Allah created everything in the heavens and the earth for humans?
Allah the Almighty is not questioned about what He does, due to His profound wisdom, while people do not encompass all of His actions with their knowledge, owing to the perfection of His knowledge and the deficiency of human knowledge. Some creatures may seem valueless, but scientific progress reveals their importance and role in the universe, such as semiconductors or the role of some living organisms. Furthermore, the creation of some harmful creatures may be for contemplation, to remind humans of the torment of disbelievers in Hellfire. Allah has created everything on Earth for humanity's benefit and consideration, and the default rule for things is permissibility unless they are harmful evils.
