Is a daughter's lack of communication with her father and her refusal to attend his family gatherings considered disobedience (disrespectful treatment of parents), given her feeling of injustice due to his unfair provision of housing between her and her sisters?

Boycotting one's father is impermissible; it is among the greatest sins and a form of disobedience, even if the father wrongs his children. The father's right is immense, and his wrongdoing does not negate it. Islamic law has forbidden a Muslim from abandoning his brother for more than three nights, so what about abandoning parents, whose right Allah has associated with His own right in the Quran? Therefore, one must hasten to repent to Allah, reconnect with the father, and treat him with kindness, for honoring one's parents is among the greatest means of attaining Allah's pleasure and entering Paradise.
