Is it permissible to boycott the houses of Allah due to a dispute between a worshipper and the Imam of the mosque, which causes the worshipper to change mosques for years?

Boycotting the houses of Allah is impermissible, but moving from one mosque to another is not considered a boycott. Some jurists hold that praying in the neighborhood mosque is better, even if the number of worshippers there is fewer. If the reason for moving away from a mosque is a dislike for the Imam due to some deficiency in his faith or conduct, then moving away from him is correct, unless he can be removed, because his imamate in such a case is disliked. However, if the dislike is for a personal reason, then one should not move, as doing so involves obeying Satan. In any case, the prayer of such a person who moves is valid.
