It is not permissible for a husband to dispose of his wife's money without her permission. The wife may take from her husband's money what is sufficient for her own maintenance and the maintenance of her children, in a reasonable manner, even without his knowledge. If he refuses to provide maintenance, she may refer the matter to the judiciary or seek a divorce. It is not permissible to abandon the husband, even if he is disobedient, and he must be obeyed in what is right. Patience with him, advising him, and supplicating for him are recommended.
