Servants are tested in this world for God to see how they act: Do they show patience and gratitude? This trial for the sister is a test from God for her and her parents. We advise her with the following: 1. To perceive that this is a trial from God. 2. To appreciate her sister's illness and treat her with kindness and forbearance. 3. Patience, for it is the weapon of the believer, and God loves the patient. 4. To seek help through prayer and remembrance of God, for in them there is comfort and tranquility: "And seek help through patience and prayer" (Quran 2:153) and "Verily, in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find rest" (Quran 13:28). 5. To seek reward for undertaking household duties and providing comfort to her family. 6. To be keen on pleasing her parents, for in their satisfaction lies God's satisfaction.

If she acts upon this, she should not pay attention to people's words, and her sole concern should be pleasing God.
