What is the ruling of Islamic law on reciprocating harm in kind and taking revenge in accordance with the noble verse, "An eye for an eye"?

It is forbidden for a woman to refuse her husband and turn away from him without a legitimate excuse, and this is considered 'nushuz' (disobedience), for which she is not permitted to seek divorce. The husband is not obliged to divorce her unless she ransoms herself by returning what he gave her, such as an apartment or similar. It is not permissible to retaliate against her except by a judge's ruling. The husband may refer the matter to the judge to seek justice from her, or he may forgive her.
