Is it possible to confide in one's father about worries and religious feelings when the son notices his lack of interest in what he says, especially given that the family is religiously committed?

There is no impediment to being frank with the father, with politeness, gentleness, and good manners, as long as it does not anger him, while observing his great right; due to the saying of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him: "The parent is the middle gate of Paradise, so if you wish, abandon that gate or preserve it." It should be noted that what was issued by the father might have been due to the son's frequent questioning of him.
