Is it permissible for me to review the Qur’an from the Mushaf with the intention of completing a full recitation (khatm) in Ramadan while menstruating, and is this khatm considered valid?

A menstruating woman is not permitted to touch the Mushaf (definition) (copy of the Qur’an) without a barrier, but she is allowed to recite the Qur’an by heart. There is no harm in her reading the Qur’an from the Mushaf with a barrier. Reading from the Mushaf brings greater reward due to the added act of looking. It is permissible for a menstruating woman to complete a full recitation of the Qur’an (khatmah), by reviewing and reciting from the Mushaf with a barrier, and this is considered a complete recitation.
