The question

Is the questioner's prayer invalid after repeatedly repeating it multiple times, and her feeling of boredom and fatigue, and her abandoning the remembrances of bowing and prostrating and not feeling at ease in them, with her 99% certainty that she intentionally does all of that due to her obsessive whispers, and one of the shaykhs issuing a fatwa to her to repeat the prayer?

The answer

These severe whispers (waswasa) necessitate turning sincerely to Allah Almighty to have Him remove them from you, and consulting a specialist doctor, for perhaps these whispers are related to an organic illness. Among the most beneficial things regarding waswasa is to ignore them.

Whoever has entered an obligatory prayer (fard), it is incumbent upon him to complete it, and it is not permissible for him to interrupt it except for an urgent necessity, based on the Almighty’s saying: "And do not invalidate your deeds." Prayer may be interrupted to kill a snake or similar, due to the command to kill it, or out of fear of losing valuable property, belonging to him or to others, or to assist someone in distress.

The majority of scholars hold that the remembrances (adhkar) of bowing (ruku') and prostration (sujud) are Sunnah, and prayer is not invalidated by intentionally or forgetfully omitting them. However, intentionally omitting them is disliked, and repeating the prayer without a valid reason is not permissible, because it is extremism and going to extremes in religion.
