Should the expenses of treating a young man who died after an accident be deducted from the blood money (diyah) for involuntary manslaughter, which is required from the one who caused his death, and are these expenses considered as part of the blood money?

If a person hits someone with their car and the injured person dies after a period, the driver is liable, whether it was intentional or accidental. The driver must pay the blood money (Diyah) and offer expiation (Kaffarah) if it was accidental. The Diyah is to be paid by the offender's 'Aqilah (male agnates), but if they are absent or refuse, the offender must bear it from their own wealth. If the offender provided treatment and then the injured person died, the cost of the treatment is deducted from the Diyah.
