What is your opinion on the book Musnad al-Shihab?
Musnad al-Shihab is a book authored by the compiler. Its origin is the book al-Shihab, in which the author collected 1200 words of wisdom, proverbs, and admonitions, with the chains of narration (isnad) omitted. He then added the isnads to them, and thus it became a Musnad. The book contains weak and fabricated hadiths. Al-Saghani wrote a treatise to expose its errors, titled al-Durr al-Multaqat fi Bayan al-Ghalat. The number of hadiths in the book reaches 1371, and most of its isnads revolve around Abu Muhammad Abd al-Rahman ibn Umar al-Tujibi.
