The wife is not remiss for doing what was suggested to her, and the husband will be rewarded for helping her serve and care for her mother. The husband did well by offering his service for one-third of the period and by offering for her to reside with them. He is not obligated to do more than that, and the two brothers can hire someone to serve their mother on their behalf for the remaining two-thirds of the year.
