Do the grandchildren of a deceased grandmother, whose father (the grandmother's son) is also deceased, inherit from her estate?

The son of the son and the daughter of the son do not inherit if the deceased has a direct son. The son completely disinherits all inheriting grandchildren.

The matter of inheritances is serious and complex, therefore, a mere fatwa is insufficient. Rather, it must be referred to Sharia courts for investigation, due to the possibility of an unknown heir, or wills, or debts that take precedence over the rights of the heirs.
