The favors the execution of three consecutive divorces, and this is the view of the majority of scholars, with reference to the opinion of some scholars who consider it to be a single divorce if it was without a new contract or reconciliation. It is permissible for common people to adopt some differing opinions, provided they are confident in their validity, and not out of whims or seeking concessions. A Muslim must strive for truth and be cautious in matters of their religion, especially concerning divorce; for Allah Almighty says: {And do not pursue that of which you have no knowledge}, and we advise presenting the matter to trustworthy scholars.
