Is it permissible to expose a person's flaws before people and their virtues before parents, and is this considered hypocrisy?

If the intention is to expose the faults of Muslims, then it is impermissible, for the Muslim's blood, property, and honor are sacred. If the intention is for a person to expose their own faults before people, then it is not prescribed, because they are commanded to conceal themselves with Allah's concealment. In both cases, this action does not fall under the definition of hypocrisy (nifaq).
