Does drinking holy water prepared by Christians cause apostasy, and is the remedy for it drinking water from seven mosques in which Al-Fatiha and other surahs have been recited?

There is no holy water in Islam, nor is there any water nobler than Zamzam water, concerning which prophetic traditions describe it as blessed and a satisfying food. As for the holy baptismal water of the Christians, it is invalid. Priests and monks claim its sanctity to gain money, and this water has been used in Ethiopia as a cure for AIDS. History has shown that those who were baptized with this water did not exhibit noble morals or sound conduct; they committed murders, rapes, and thefts.

A debate was narrated between a Muslim sheikh and a Christian priest regarding baptism, where the sheikh asked the priest: "Can one who does not sanctify himself sanctify water?" This silenced the priest. Then the sheikh explained that the claim of Jesus (peace be upon him) needing John (peace be upon him) to anoint his head and pray for blessings for him indicates that the worship of John is better than the worship of Jesus. Bashir – who was a Christian and embraced Islam – then laughed and said to the priest: "Get up, may Allah disgrace you! I invited you to support him, but you have embraced Islam!"

It is not permissible for a Muslim to wash with baptismal water, or drink it, or sprinkle it on themselves, or believe in its sanctity. Whoever does so is validating the distorted religion of the Christians.
