Is it permissible to give charity or donate from money earned through the sale of forbidden goods, and is the prayer of one who works in this field accepted?

One must cease selling prohibited items like cigarettes and alcohol and dispose of their earnings by spending them on charitable causes. One must exclusively sell permissible goods, as sustenance will fully reach the individual. "O people, fear Allah and be moderate in seeking your livelihood, for no soul will die until it has received its full sustenance, even if it is slow in coming. So, fear Allah and be moderate in seeking your livelihood. Take what is lawful and leave what is unlawful." The acceptance of good deeds is a matter of the unseen, but it is hoped that worship that fulfills its conditions and pillars will be accepted, unless the Muslim performs an action that prevents the acceptance of their prayer.
