What is the ruling on one who prayed Fajr on Friday with a surah other than Al-Sajdah, and prostrated at one of the other verses of prostration, then completed the recitation and bowed?

What the worshipper did by reciting a surah containing a prostration is permissible and there is no objection to it. Reciting a surah that includes a prostration is permissible in the Fajr prayer on Friday and at other times, even though some scholars disliked deliberately reciting a surah with a prostration in an obligatory prayer. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, used to recite Surah As-Sajdah and Surah Al-Insan in the Fajr prayer on Friday. Some scholars, however, disliked constant adherence to this, fearing the belief in the legitimacy of an additional prostration in the Fajr prayer on Friday. Ibn al-Qayyim mentioned that these two surahs contain what happened and will happen on Friday, so the prostration came as a consequence and was not intended.
