Is a worker in the field of da‘wah who receives a salary rewarded if he intends the Face of Allah and benefit, or has he attained his share through the money he receives?

There is no religious impediment for a preacher, teacher, or mufti to receive a salary for their work if they dedicate themselves to it. This is based on what Al-Bukhari and others narrated regarding the Companions taking payment for treating the head of a tribe with Ruqyah (recitation of Quranic verses), and the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "The most deserving of what you take a wage for is the Book of Allah." The consideration is given to the generality of the wording, not the specificity of the cause. A preacher who receives a salary does not diminish their reward as long as they are sincere, although volunteering is better if one is able.
