If it is proven that the company took people's money through lies and fraud, then it is considered a usurper of their wealth. Consequently, the legal fees and litigation costs for recovering the paid amount are incumbent upon the company. The owner of the money is entitled only to take back an amount equivalent to his original money; anything beyond that is not his and must be returned to its rightful owners.
