Is it permissible for a woman to be lenient with her hijab and adornment in her home in front of non-mahram men, or for her voice or any part of her body to be exposed to the outside, or is that forbidden, based on His saying, the Almighty: (And abide in your houses)?

A woman must cover her body from non-mahram men, whether she is in her home or outside it. It is not permissible for her to remove her clothes unless she is safe from their gaze.

She must be modest and avoid softness and allure in speech with non-mahram men, as Allah Almighty says: "O wives of the Prophet, you are not like any other women. If you fear Allah, then do not be soft in speech, lest he in whose heart is disease should covet, but speak with appropriate speech." (Al-Ahzab: 32).

Allah has forbidden women from every action that attracts the attention of non-mahram men and arouses their instincts, as in His saying: "And let them not stamp their feet to make known what they conceal of their adornment." (An-Nur: 31).

Regarding His saying: "And abide in your houses" (Al-Ahzab: 33), some scholars interpret it to mean staying within the home.
