Is it permissible to rent out premises to a usurious bank?

Dealing with Riba (usury/interest) is forbidden and is considered one of the major sins. It is not permissible to rent out a shop to a bank that deals in Riba, because that is considered cooperation in sin and aggression. Indeed, the one who consumes Riba, the one who feeds it, its scribe, and its two witnesses have been cursed. The rent taken from a Riba-based bank is unlawful money that must be disposed of through charity. As for what was taken before knowing its prohibition, it is lawful, based on the words of the Almighty: "So whoever receives an admonition from his Lord and desists, he shall have what has passed, and his affair is committed to Allah."
