What is the ruling of Islamic law regarding a wife continuing to live with a husband who watches pornography, and is it permissible for her to leave her son with him if she fears harm for him?

Watching pornographic films is a great evil, and its prohibition and sinfulness are increased if committed by a married man, due to the ingratitude it entails for Allah Almighty's blessing upon him of a wife who keeps him chaste.

We advise you to continue supplicating for his guidance and repentance, for Allah is near and responsive. We also advise you to adorn yourself for your husband and be a good wife to him, as this may help in his reformation.

If that does not succeed, then consider whether it is more appropriate to confront him with gentle advice and remind him of Allah, and explain the danger of his actions to your son, or to continue trying to reform him through indirect methods.
