What is the ruling on the widespread saying among employees, "Allah deserves praise"?

Linguists have differed on the correctness of using the word "yasta'hil" (يستأهل) in the sense of "yastahiqq" (يستحق - deserves), with the majority deeming it correct. This is supported by the usage of the eloquent Arabs, and by the Almighty's saying: "He is the Fount of Piety, and the Fount of Forgiveness" (هُوَ أَهْلُ التَّقْوى وَأَهْلُ الْمَغْفِرَةِ). Furthermore, linguists such as al-Fayrouzabadi and al-Fayyumi have affirmed its correctness. Scholars have also used it in their writings with this meaning. Based on this, the saying "Allah yastahil al-hamd" (الله يستاهل الحمد - Allah deserves praise) is permissible and correct, as it means that Allah deserves praise, as stated in the Quran and Sunnah.
