Is it permissible for a man to take back his wife after divorcing her with an explicit triple repudiation, and is she lawful to him after divorcing her for the second time within eight months?

If a man divorces his wife with three pronouncements in a single utterance, the majority of scholars hold that the triple divorce takes effect. However, if he divorces her with three separate pronouncements and intends to effect a triple divorce, then three divorces take effect. If he falsely claims that he divorced her thrice when he did not, then no divorce occurs between him and Allah, but he is bound by this if the wife refers the matter to a judge. The husband is advised to treat his wife well and to maintain prayer.
