The offer presented by the official is impermissible, as it constitutes fraud and unlawful consumption of wealth. Allah has forbidden this, saying: {And do not consume your properties among yourselves through falsehood}. Among falsehood are lying and forgery. Your acceptance of travel for these additional tasks is considered a form of hiring (), and its basis is mutual consent regarding the work and the wage.
